    The FBB Cage Handling System was first introduced to the market in 2004. It has been widely adopted with many positive responses since then. Much improvements have been made to perfect the handling system throughout the years. Innovergy Engineering takes pride in the achievement of being one of the players who pioneered the improvement.

    Indexer system utilizes hydraulic cylinder powered steel frame and coupled with pusher/puller pad to maneuver cages within the sterilization area. Compared with conventional methods like tractors, bulldozers, capstans and winches, Indexer system offers more benefits and advantages like easy maintenance and work safety.

    Combining latest hydraulic and automation technology, the system helps to reduce operator dependency, improving consistency and stability during the process.

    Two types of cage handling system - Indexer and CMC are developed to cater for different mill designs and throughput capacities.

  • Indexer System

    Features:

    • Two doors sterilizer with FFB charging in and SFB charging out at the other end.
    • Consist of Indexer, Cantilever Bridge, Transfer Carriages and Cage Tipper
    • Single cage tipper supports up to 15 tons
    • Auto FFB cage or manual feeding available to fit mill design

    Advantages:

    • Easy maintenance as different equipment is spread out along the process line
    • Lower building height
    • Smaller tipper pit

    CMC system

    Features:

    • Twin sterilizers facing each other and sharing a common cage tipper
    • Compact footprint with typical 80m x 30m for the whole sterilization yard
    • Cage movement limited to 30 meter per cycle
    • Automated FFB feeding to cage
    • Cage tipper supports up to 30 ton

    Advantages:

    • Minimum operator required as compact layout is combined with automation
    • Minimal cage maintenance
    • Exceptionally well suited for mill capacity more than 60 tph
    • Safe operation environment as control of operation takes place on top of platform

    INNOV Sterilizer Process Automation System

     

    A comprehensive system delivering optimum sterilization that is also easy to operate and user friendly.

    We supply a wide range of system configurations including horizontal, vertical, oblique, tilting and spherical.

    Features:

    • Time Based Progression & Pressure Override:

      utomated procedures progress base on preset time gap with pressure-linked feature for overriding to next procedure.

    • Display & Control:

      Control panel comes with Mimic Diagram and HMI touch screen for ease of operation. Tower lights are integrated to indicate system status.

    • Cooking Recipe Recording:

      System is equipped with pressure recording feature, serving as future reference and cooking recipe. Pressure recording available in paper chart, paperless, SCADA, or A4 print on demand format.

    • Flexibility + Compatibility:

      INNOV Sterilizer Automation System caters up to 6 sterilizers and each sterilizer control can support 3 to 10 valves. Besides, our system can be integrated with INNOV Back Pressure Control System for efficient steam utilization.

    • Backup Power & Protection:

      In the event of unexpected power failure, UPS backup power takes over and keeps the system running, preventing any downtime. Lightning arrestor and transformer are also provided to safeguard system from voltage surge.

    • Safety:

      Built-in sterilizer lock sensors are interlocked with system to prevent unsafe operation. That means no pressure and no steam will be injected into sterilizer until lock sensors are in positions.

    • Auto/Manual Operations:

      INNOV Sterilizer Process Automation System comes with both Auto and Manual operation modes. In the event of auto system failure, operator can take over using manual valve operations to prevent downtime.

  • INNOV Vertical/Oblique Sterilizer Automation & Hydraulic System
    Oblique system

     

    INNOV Vertical/Oblique Sterilizer Automation & Hydraulic System is designed to integrate the following into one, and it guarantees safe and easy operation:

    • Sterilizer door and conveyor chute,
    • INNOV Sterilizer Process Automation System,
    • Augers
    • Conveyors!

     

    Oblique system

    Features:

    • Integrated Operation:

      A system that combines automation and hydraulic applications for simplistic sterilizer operation, with improved safety.

    • Additional Safety Measure:

      Enhanced security with safety purge valves installed as last layer of protection before unlocking sterilizer door. Regardless of auto or manual mode, operator is required to push and hold the purge valve button for approximately 12-15 seconds to ensure steam pressure is safe for door unlocking.

    • Hydraulic System:

      Further improved safety with pilot operated valve installed at sterilizer door lock and counter balance valve installed at door opening cylinder.

    • Auto/Manual Operation:

      The system comes with both Auto and Manual operation modes. In the event of auto system failure, operator can take over using manual valve operation to prevent downtime.

  • Horizontal Sterilizer Door/Drawbridge
    Drawbridge system

    Instead of manually operating sterilizer door, hydraulic system is a better option for sterilizer door opening/closing and locking/unlocking operations. The system is best suited for existing mills seeking to improve work safety and reduce workforce dependency.

    Features:

    • Hydraulic Application:

      Hydraulic cylinders serve as actuator to perform door opening/closing and locking/unlocking operation. New brackets are to be installed at the door to hold the cylinders.

    • Hydraulic Safety:

      Pilot operated check valve installed at lock/unlock cylinder prevents unlocking even under external force. Counterbalance valve installed at cantilever bridge holds the load tight at any position during operation.

    • Strategic Operation:

      Control panel located at strategic position allows operator to oversee whole operation at a safe distance.

    • Automation Safety:

      Built-in pressure transmitter monitors steam pressure to ensure no cylinder can be activated beyond safety level. Enhanced security with safety purge valves installed as last layer of protection before sterilizer door unlocks.

  • INNOV Back Pressure Control System
    BackPressure system

    Features:

    • Make Up Control:

      Based on the feedback to controller, boiler will supply sufficient steam to the receiver to make up for steam losses. Supply speed is depending on the deviation of BPR pressure from the preset point.

      On the other hand, excessive steam will be discharged from BPR to the atmosphere through excess steam valve, based on the feedback to controller.

    • Sterilizer Process Automation:

      INNOV Back Pressure Control System can be integrated with INNOV Sterilizer Process Automation System, serving you better with efficient steam utilization.

    • Strategic Operation:

      Control panel located at strategic position allows operator to oversee whole operation at a safe distance.

    • Frequency & Voltage Reading:

      Our system offers optional feature of alternator frequency and voltage reading. Once reading drops to a preset point, exhaust valve will be opened to maintain turbine speed. This is to prevent ACB from tripping due to low voltage.

    • Auto/Manual Operation:

      INNOV Back Pressure Control System comes with both Auto and Manual operation modes. In the event of auto system failure, operator can take over using manual valve operation to prevent downtime.

  • Moving Floor Hydraulics and Automation
    MovingFloor system

    Features:

    INNOV Moving Floor System incorporates pressure feedback from boiler and adjusts the speed of moving floor cylinder accordingly.

    It is also interlocked with conveyor below the moving floor. In the event of conveyor interruption, moving floor operation will be cut off to prevent fuel over-piling.

  • INNOV Hydraulic Conveyor Drive
    Conveyor system

    Hydraulic conveyor drive is preferred over eletro-gearbox drive in the environment when more frequent start/stop is required. Hydraulic drive has the advantages of giving higher starting torque and sustaining lesser shock, hence able to prolong the conveyor chain lifespan. INNOV Hydraulic Conveyor Drive comes in both single and twin drive designs.

    Features:

    • High Starting Torque:

      Conveyor drive with high starting torque minimizes torque surge during start-up, therefore the lifespan of coupling and chain can be prolonged.

    • Twin Drive:

      Twin drive design comes with two hydraulic motors driving the shaft at opposing ends. Such design sustains a balanced torque distribution, minimizing imbalanced elongation of the conveyor chain.

    • Variable Speed Control:

      Hydraulic motor uses hydraulic piston pump with high volumetric efficiency. The application of hydraulic piston pump in conveyor drive allows variable speed control without causing excessive heat.

    • Loading Safety:

      Combination of high efficiency piston motor and counter balance valve prevents backward sliding during fresh fruit bunch loading on inclined conveyor. Such combination also reinforces the safety during conveyor maintenance.

    Feature:

    Both manual and solenoid operated valves available.

    Feature:

    Undertow type, indexer type and without pushing mechanism type available. Locking mechanism can be chosen from latching cylinder or rotary lock.
